On May 28, 2020, in the announcement of the Raspberry Pi 4B with 8GH of RAM [30], they stopped using the name Raspbian, and they announced a beta 64-bit version of the Raspberry Pi OS. An official 64-bit version of the Raspberry PI OS was announced on Feb 2, 2022 [31].
